get inspired. 💡
We’ve recently spent a fantastic day with UK Research and Innovation Innovate UK at BAFTA, capturing moments from some fascinating speakers. There’s something magical about seeing minds come together in one room to share ideas. I’ll share some photos soon—stay tuned.
explore. 🎨
If you’re in London this September, don’t miss the London Mural Festival by the Global Street Art team. It’s a city-wide celebration of creativity, with stunning murals popping up in unexpected places. Perfect for anyone wanting to take in some fresh inspiration while wandering the streets. Check out my vlog from the launch night.
read. 📘
I’ve recently seen Oliver Burkman speak at How to Academy so had to read his new book Meditations for Mortals. His talk recently reminded me how important it is to focus on what really matters—simplifying, slowing down and letting go. Life is about more than just ticking off To Do list which, as he said, will never be done and that’s OK. One of my favourite quotes from the book: ‘Dive wholeheartedly into this life now.’
join me for a walk. 🚶♀️
In London on October 21st in the morning? Join me for our Grateful Mile in the City — walk a mile, meet new friends, doodle what you’re grateful for and have a coffee. Leave uplifted, inspired, more joyful and motivated.
seeing faces in clouds too? 🧠
Here’s something fun: Pareidolia is the tendency of our brain to see familiar patterns—especially faces—in random objects like clouds, taps (me 2 days ago), or even car grills. It’s a survival mechanism that helps us make sense of the world quickly.
Neuroscience tip: Next time you’re brainstorming or problem-solving, try looking for patterns or shapes in unexpected places—whether it’s in data, designs, or even your surroundings. You’ll be surprised how this trick can boost creative thinking and help you see things from a fresh perspective.
win the pitch. 🚀
We’ve just launched Win the Pitch, a neuroscience-led service that helps startups craft their investment stories. We work on simplifying your narrative, making it compelling and—most importantly—helping you get a YES from investor. Getting ready for investment round or pitching your next idea? This is for you.
One Question 💡
If you could, how would you spend today?
Whether it’s doing something creative, connecting with someone, or just taking time to breathe—go ahead, give yourself permission to do it. Neuroscience says making intentional choices that align with your personal values boosts long-term happiness and productivity.
What are you curious about? Always love hearing your thoughts.
Stay curious, keep connecting and keep creating. The world needs your unique perspective. ❤️
