On Overwhelm.

Is it that or something else...

Most of us don’t have a time problem.

We have a decision problem.

Every tiny choice: what to wear, what to reply, what to post, whether to say yes uses a little bit of your mental energy. Brain’s only job is to protect your energy so when it’s exposed to one more, it tries to not let you make one. This is where procrastination stems from, starring at a wall for 2hrs or feeling like you haven’t achieved much in a day.

By the time the important decisions arrive, your brain is already tired. That’s why it’s so hard to ‘eat the frog’, instead do 100 tasks of low importance. By the time we get to the frog, the brain goes: ‘naaah’.
